Pixel Wall

January, 2017

The pixel wall installation at Telstra stores in Sydney and Melbourne was a visually stunning and interactive experience for visitors. The wall featured 2100 LEDs, with each LED having a button underneath to enable multiple users to interact with the installation.

The installation had three different interaction modes that could be activated via a Pixel phone attached to the wall or by pressing the LEDs on the wall. The behavior of the wall buttons would change depending on the interaction mode chosen by the Pixel phone.

In addition to the three interaction modes, there was also a screensaver mode that would play when there were no interactions with the wall. This helped to keep the wall engaging even when there were no active users, and added to the overall impact of the installation.

As the project lead and developer, I was responsible for designing and programming the wall's behavior, ensuring that it was both visually impressive and intuitive for users to interact with.
